EduActiv8 is a desktop application containing hundreds of short, focused educational activities for early learners. It began in 2011 as a personal project — authored by a parent to help his son explore maths and language through play. Game-based mostly learning, on the other hand, is more immersive, using complete games designed specifically to teach particular skills or knowledge.
